As a nutrition student, I have a good grasp on a balanced diet and what foods should be limited. However, I cannot get over the fact that I could eat pasta all day long (and usually have it multiple times per week). Ever since Christmas, I have not bought pasta noodles because one of my Christmas presents this year was a spiralizer! Not familiar with what a spiralizer is? Check it out. Creating noodles using vegetables could not be any easier! And they taste amazing. I am so thankful for the spiralizer because I consume twice as many vegetables and a LOT less carbs! Zucchini noodles (or Zoodles) remain my favorite, but I still have many more vegetables to spiralize!
Now who doesn’t love pizza? I sure do, but it is definitely not something you should be eating all of the time. Pizza, especially frozen pizza, is high in fat and sodium. Until now.
